Home Recommendation: Yoda needs a patient home that will teach him to trust people. He was poorly socialized when he was young so it takes him time to warm up to strangers. Once he knows you, he is an absolute love and bundle of fun!

Kids: He would prefer a quiet home with kids above the age of 16

Dogs: Yoda takes time to warm up to other dogs but he would not mind having an easy going doggy sibling to hangout with!

Cats: No

Crate Trained: Yoda is not being crate-trained and is fine when left alone in the home

House Trained: Yes

Other training: Yoda needs someone who will work on building up his confidence with continued socialization and training! He is a great listener and knows commands “sit”, “wait” and responds well when told “no”.

Leash Manners:  He pulls at the beginning of a walk but quickly settles down and walks nicely!

Personality: Yoda is a timid pup who comes out of his shell quickly and shows off his playful, fun side. He is incredibly sweet and enjoys receiving pets! His hobbies include chasing birds in the backyard and playing with balls! He will happily sit on the couch with you and watch T.V. or sunbathe outside.

Why did he come to WISE?: Yoda was surrendered by his family after they decided owning a dog was no longer suitable for their lifestyle.
