For years, Piper waited. Pulled from the East Orange Animal Shelter in 2021, Piper spent the next 3–4 years in foster care — shy, nervous, and unsure of the world around her. We shared her photos again and again, hoping the right family would see her sweet face and fall in love. But the applications never came. And as it turns out…that was okay! Because Piper was exactly where she was meant to be the whole time.
